What Really Matters

” We recognize our own mortality and we are reminded that in the fleeting time we have on this Earth, what matters is not wealth, or status, or power, or fame, but rather how well we have loved and what small part we have played in making the lives of other people better.”  President Obama

Tragedy is an unavoidable part of our human existance.  We all at one time have experienced it, be it through our own personal losses or by witnessing the losses  of another.  Much of the pain and suffering of mind, body and spirit can be alleviated with the various holistic modalities that are practiced throughout the world.  However, there are many who do not have access to the knowledge of these practices.  To this end, Worldwide Holistic Day was created.  By raising awareness of how these practices can help alleviate pain and suffering when standard medical practices are unavailable, we can do much to make the world a better place.  Extend your hand and your heart.  Pledge to teach a free class, workshop on Worldwide Holistic Day.  If you are not a holistic practioner, enlist someone who is to commit to a class, workshop or lecture.  Even prayer can be a wonderful practice.  Pray for the success of this day and for those of us in our Human Family who face pain and suffering.
