Chakra Meditation for Healing

Chakra Meditation

Get comfortable in your chair

Put your feet on the floor, your back straight

Feel yourself open to an acceptance position for this healing meditation.

Take a couple of deep breaths, which serve as a signal to your body that it is time for meditation.

Let your breath expand your stomach, your chest, and your upper chest.

Slowly release your breath, and begin again with expansion…

Feel the gentle rolling movement of your breath, in and out of your body.

Feel the relaxation that comes with each breath and release.

Breathe and release.

Allow your breath to be gentle as it flows in and out of your body.

Pausing between breaths.

With the next exhalation be aware of the top of your head, just gently say hello to the top of your head.  With next, say hello to the center of your head.

With the next exhalation say hello to the your throat, your throat chakra.

Next say hello bring your awareness to your heart center. And give yourself a big hello.

Next, breathe into your solar plexus; it does a lot of work for us.

Next to your second chakra, somewhere by your belly button, just say hello and release.

Give a big hello to the base of your spine. Release and relax in your first chakra.

Take a deep breath.

The word chakra means wheel, and our chakras our energy sources.

Say hello again to your first chakra.

The first chakra is for our survival.  It is what attaches us to the planet.

It helps us in tight situations, and saves our hide at times.

Send another hello and thank you to the first chakra for all the times it has helped us.

Take a deep breath.

The second chakra is our relationship chakra.

It deals with feelings.

Take a deep breath and say hello and thank you to your second chakra.

On your next breath, say hello to your solar plexus.

The Third chakra is located around our solar plexus.  It is our power center. It is where we project ourselves into the world.  This is also the seat of the child self.  It is a source of communication both within your physical body and within your energy body.

Take a deep breath and send a thank you to that third chakra.

Rest in your heart center for a moment and think about the fact that your first two chakras deal with you on a physical or body level.

Your fourth chakra is a bridge between your physical and spiritual.  The heart.

For a moment allow yourself to breath in and breath out, gently watching the rise and fall of your chest.  Allow that gentle rise and fall to bring you deeper into the center of your chest, the center of your being.

As you move your awareness from the center of your being, allow yourself to be embraced by the light, for that is who you truly are. Feel the joy and the beauty and wonder as you embrace that light and realize that it is you.

This is centering.

This is being in the middle of your energy field, in the middle of your light, being totally embraced by the light.

Allow yourself to feel the relaxation that is the center of your light, allow yourself to feel the beauty and wonder that is there.  Feel the safety and security of being held and loved.  Feel centered.

Then take a deep breath and notice how this feels in your body.

Does it feel the same or different.

From the center of your being feel the pulse and rhythm that is you.

As you feel that pulse that is you. Allow the exterior you to come into harmony with the center of who you are.

Let that harmony fill your body.  Let the joy and harmony spill out through your body and all around your body. From this place send a hello to the heart center of the earth.  As you send a hello to the heart center of the earth, allow yourself to come into another harmony with the heart center of the earth.  Then allow yourself to be grounded: your heart to the heart center of the earth.  The grounding connecting from your heart center, through your third, second, and first chakra, through your legs and feet deep into the center of the earth.  So you begin to resonate not only with your center, but the center of the earth.

Send another hello to the center of the earth.  Let that communication start to flow.  Open a dialogue with the earth.   Honor yourself and honor the earth.  Recognize that in the center of who you are, you recognize the divine, the totally capable, totally beautiful.   In the physical you represent the expression of that divine.

This allows you to move through your growth in whatever way you choose to move through it and allows the E. to move through it whatever way she chooses to do it.

Take a deep breath, send hello to the center of the U.  and allow yourself to come into harmony with the heart of the Universe.

Again, your part of the Universe, you are the U, and the U is you.  This is on the divine level.

Allow yourself to ground into the center of Universe.  Allow yourself to connect to the center of U.  through your heart, through your throat, through the center of your head, through the top of your head.  Through your eight and ninth chakra, through the solar system, through the Universe.  Feel the extension.  Say hello to the heart of the U.   And feel the communication opening.

And with your next breath, breathe deeply the earth energy, out from the center of the earth. As it moves through you and to the Heart of the Universe.  Feel the extension.  You are a beautiful column of light. From the heart of the earth to the heart of the Universe, securely grounded in each.

Allowing you to express totally as an individual and totally as divine.

Allow the energy to move gently from the heart of the Earth to the heart of the Universe.  Feel the beauty and wonder and power that is present in this communication.

From the center of your being embrace who you are.

Take a deep breath. Stretch and open your eyes..

Namaste.
